Producer/director Andre Champagne is an award-winning cinematographer, a veteran music producer and music and film editor. Champagne co-produced and directed The Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde Rock N’ Roll Musical, set fornational release on DVD through EliteDisc and Koch Entertainment in January, 2008. The movie garnered numerous awards including ‘Best Picture’ at the Fantastic Film Festival International; ‘Best Score’and ‘Best Cinematography’ at the New York B-Movie Festival and official selection at ManiaFest 2003 and at the Valley Film Festival in Los Angeles. Recent DP credits include the television pilot The Real Reel West, a Wellness Community PSA featuring Jamie Lee Curtis, a Wilshire Ebell event featuring premiere Peruvian abstract artist Fernando de Szyszlo, Charles Champlin's star on Hollywood's walk of fame and exclusive interview, and editor and DP for Emmy-nominated Thom Fountain’s documentary Wayland Flowers & Madame Remembered. Andre has provided additional cinematography for recent features "The Wrath" (New Line Cinema) and "Poker Run" with Bertie Higgins and also directed, shot and edited a short: "Someone for Everyone" in high definition which was screened at The Beverly Hills Hi Def Film Festival. Andre’s radio experience started under the tutelage of three-time Billboard Radio Personality of the Year, Ron McCoy. Andre produced both station promos and PSA’s for KNAC-FM and then produced over 1,000 radio and television spots for many clients, most notably Music Plus, now Blockbuster.
