ISFFH Celebrates the Next Generation of Filmmakers
The Annual International Student Film Festival Hollywood (ISFFH) celebrates its 5th year November 14 – 18, 2007 taking place in the NoHo Arts District of North Hollywood.
The event will start with an Exclusive Filmmakers Reception hosted by Actors Certified Training (ACT) at their facility in the NoHo Arts District. Guests will participate in a discussion led by Tim Lampros, Founder and CEO of ACT and author of “Hollywood Quagmire.” Filmmakers will have the opportunity to mingle with their peers and other industry professionals throughout the evening.
The 2007 official film selections will be screened throughout the event at Beverly Garland’s Theater at the Beverly Garland Holiday Inn in North Hollywood. Each screening segment is followed by a question and answer period where a moderator from the film industry leads a discussion with the filmmakers and the audience. The ISFFH encourages the filmmakers to actively engage the audience in discussion to further build their enthusiasm, self-confidence and public speaking ability. At the same time, it is an opportunity to entertain, enlighten, educate, and engage the audience.
The event will culminate with the Closing Gala and Awards Ceremony on November 18th where awards will be presented to this year’s top student filmmakers from elementary to graduate schools from around the world. A.C. Lyles, Senior Producer at Paramount and longest working executive in Hollywood will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award in honor of his long association and his outstanding contribution to the motion picture industry.
